Is FXTM (ForexTime) Available in Canada? (2026 Check)
By ForexCanada Editorial Team · Updated
Canada check
FXTM (ForexTime) holds licences outside Canada but is not registered with CIRO or any provincial securities regulator. If it accepts you, your account will normally be opened with an offshore group entity rather than its better-regulated subsidiaries — so CIPF coverage, CIRO margin rules and OBSI complaint handling do not apply. FXTM does not accept Canadian clients.

Our take on FXTM (ForexTime)
FXTM is a Cyprus-headquartered broker with a large presence in Africa and Asia. It does not accept Canadian residents.
FXTM built a large following in Africa and Asia with MetaTrader accounts and a strategy-following product. Its group has restructured its licences over the years, and Canadian residents are not among the clients it serves. MetaTrader users in Canada can open MT4 or MT5 accounts with CIRO dealers instead.
Verdict
Not available to Canadians.
