Fusion Markets Canada Review: Is It Regulated in Canada?
By ForexCanada Editorial Team · Updated
Canada check
Fusion Markets holds licences outside Canada but is not registered with CIRO or any provincial securities regulator. If it accepts you, your account will normally be opened with an offshore group entity rather than its better-regulated subsidiaries — so CIPF coverage, CIRO margin rules and OBSI complaint handling do not apply. At our last check Fusion Markets accepted Canadian residents through its Vanuatu/Seychelles entity, not the ASIC-licensed company.

Our take on Fusion Markets
Fusion Markets built its brand on low costs: its Zero account pairs raw spreads with one of the lowest commissions in the industry, and there is no minimum deposit. Platform choice is excellent (MT4, MT5, cTrader, TradingView). Like other Australian brokers, however, Fusion onboards Canadians through an offshore entity rather than its ASIC-licensed company. For a Canadian trader, the savings versus a CIRO dealer are real — but so is the loss of CIPF and Canadian complaint handling.
Verdict
One of the cheapest offshore options. Weigh the cost savings against zero Canadian protection.

How Fusion Markets scores
Canadian protection carries 40% of the weight, so an unregistered firm can't outrank a registered one on price alone. See the full methodology.
