RoboForex Canada Review: Is It Regulated in Canada?
By ForexCanada Editorial Team · Updated
Canada check
RoboForex is licensed only in offshore or light-touch jurisdictions (or not at all) and is not registered with any Canadian regulator. You would have no Canadian investor protection and limited practical recourse in a dispute. We could not confirm that it currently accepts Canadian residents — check its restricted-countries list before applying.

Our take on RoboForex
RoboForex is a Belize-licensed broker offering MetaTrader, cTrader and its R StocksTrader platform. Belize licensing offers limited protection, and Canadian eligibility is unconfirmed.
RoboForex offers an unusually wide platform line-up for an offshore broker — MT4, MT5, cTrader and its own R StocksTrader for stock CFDs — along with frequent promotions. Its Belize licence provides limited oversight. Promotions and bonuses are common here, which is itself a reminder that the firm operates outside the Canadian regulatory framework.
What we like
- +Wide platform choice
- +Low minimum deposits
Watch out for
- −Belize licence only
- −Canadian eligibility unconfirmed
- −Not registered in Canada — no CIPF, CIRO or OBSI protection
How RoboForex scores
Canadian protection carries 40% of the weight, so an unregistered firm can't outrank a registered one on price alone. See the full methodology.
