FXChoice Canada Review: Is It Regulated in Canada?

Offshore / not registered in CanadaAccepts Canadian residents

By ForexCanada Editorial Team · Updated

Canada check

FXChoice is licensed only in offshore or light-touch jurisdictions (or not at all) and is not registered with any Canadian regulator. You would have no Canadian investor protection and limited practical recourse in a dispute. At our last check the broker's international entity accepted Canadian residents.

Our take on FXChoice

FXChoice is a Belize-licensed MetaTrader broker that has long accepted North American clients that larger brokers turn away. Pricing on its Pro account is competitive and crypto deposits are supported. The regulatory protection is minimal by Canadian standards: Belize licensing offers little in the way of capital requirements or compensation schemes.

FXChoice has long been one of the offshore brokers that openly accepts North American clients, which is why it featured on this site in the past. It supports crypto deposits and withdrawals as well as traditional methods. Its Belize licence offers little by way of capital requirements or compensation, so balances should be kept small and withdrawals tested early.

Verdict

Low-cost and accessible, with correspondingly low protection.
