Our take on Coinberry
Coinberry was one of the first platforms to register under Canada's crypto trading platform framework and is now part of WonderFi alongside Bitbuy and Coinsquare. It is a simple buy-and-sell service with a short list of coins and Interac funding.
Coinberry's appeal has always been simplicity: a short onboarding flow, Interac e-Transfer funding and a small menu of the best-known coins. Since WonderFi brought Coinberry, Bitbuy and Coinsquare under one roof, the three platforms increasingly share infrastructure, so it's worth comparing their current fee schedules side by side before choosing. If you plan to buy more than occasionally, a platform with an order-book mode will usually cost less than Coinberry's spread-based pricing.
Verdict
Simple and registered, but limited. Bitbuy offers more under the same parent.

How Coinberry scores
Canadian protection carries 40% of the weight, so an unregistered firm can't outrank a registered one on price alone. See the full methodology.
